If George Galloway's show is the mother of all talk shows, then Amy goodman's Democracy Now is surely the grandmother—and we do mean grand. First airing in 1996, the program has stayed on top of technological shifts, and has boldly advocated for and provided non-corporate news since its first program. This is your go-to station for quick recaps of major news (a lesson many listed below should learn), in-depth interviews, and investigative reports. Amy keeps her eye on the clock and doesn't ramble. Our only advice to her is: don't forget to groom a successor!

Kyle Kulinski's Secular Talk

Kyle is unabashedly Democractic but not a party hack, though it sometimes introduces a bias. He is 100% genuine, and 100% free of corporate influence. His presentations are lively and engaging. Kyle's focus tends to be US politics. Caution: Kyle let's his emotions show with language that might give the Puritan ladies a heart attack.

Kernow has excellent information and is both articulate and witty. Unfortunately, his UK accent can be difficult for US listeners, and his appearance diminishes the visual aspect of his highly entertaining presentations. Also, some of his content concerns UK politics, and so may be of limited interest to viewers from elsewhere.

Excelent reporting and interviews. Katie's sarcasm can be a little dry (technically, this is called 'irony', but that term is so often misused that we hesitate to use it at all) so don't buy into everything that's said with a straight face.

This is a fully professional outlet that keeps on rubbing the powers-that-be the wrong way because they ask the important questions and don't swallow evasive talking points the way that corporate media does. Serious in-depth reporting. The channel is spearheaded by Max Blumenthal, and Aaron Maté is a significant contributor. It can be difficult to listen to Max sometimes as he gulps for air in mid-sentence. Max, get a breathing coach like the singers do!

John Elmer's military reporting is top notch. Ali Abunimah and Asa Winstanley have won badges of honor by being wrongfully harassed and detained by those who are uncomfortable with things like truth and freedom of the press. Nora Barrows-Friedman ties the whole show together. The information and insights are fantastic. The research is deep. We wish the presentations could be shorter and more lively.

Richard Medhurst

Richard, a living media martyr, wrongly accused of terrorism in two different states by those who need to hide the truth of what they are up to, and who don't enjoy it when someone points out their wickedness and folly. Richard's lively and highly entertaining style must be especially irksome to them, but, for the rest of us, he's a joy to watch. Due to the abuses of the legal system to which he has been subjected, many of his channels are, unfortunately, dormant. Consequently, since new content is posted unpredictably, subscribe to all his outlets and you'll get notification of new content. Don't assume he'll post the same content to all outlets; he usually doesn't. Caution: Richard is another one who let's his emotions show with language that might give the Puritan ladies a heart attack.

Guy's been put through a lot for someone his age. Falsely accused of this and that; wrongfully expelled from school; wrongfully suspended from YouTube—he has all the badges of honor that come with being blessed when 'they' hate and curse you because you follow and proclaim the light and the truth.

George Galloway is the genuine article and has every right to boast of hosting the Mother of All Talk Shows. Well-informed, insightful, excellent commentaries, engaging interviews, a sharp mind with a sharp tongue. He's feisty (though not in the older, etymological senses of the term), don't mess with George unless you like to lose. Sometimes his topics are UK-centered, but he's a UK citizen—he's even been a minister of parliment!—so why shouldn't he be UK-centered?!

Sabbie would like to advocate for justice for Black Americans, but so much is going on that she has to set that aside and deal with everything else. The result is a show that broadcasts good, common sense for everyone.

This is about as close to 'mainstream' as we are willing to get. Ana Kasparian is a true professional and as bright and articulate as they come. Cenk Uygur is loud, passionate, and forceful. Thank God he's got his head on straight. The two of them make a great lead team for the wider circle of TYT programming.

The show is professionally done, and neither Ball (the leftie) or Enetji (the rightie) regurgitate party talking points. Instead, they voice and defend their own opinions (imagine that: independent thought!). Krystal is married to Kyle Kulinski (see above) and the two together do an informal show called Krystal, Kyle & Friends

This is also more of a network than a show. Occupy Democrats features punchy, aggressive hosts, and anti-Republican content. It embraces the tabloid style with over-the-top headlines and news stories that are sometimes more story than news. Enjoy the show, but take it with a few grains of salt. And, oh yeah: Stay frosty.

Yes, Candace, Christ is King, so "Love thy neighbor", right?
